This first major U.S. museum survey of graffiti and street art is the brainchild of Jeffrey Deitch (along with associate co-curators Roger Gastman & Aaron Rose)the line up is crazy .

Oi You !

So some info on an exhibition & competition to take place in September this year in the South Island’s sunny Nelson.

There are 3 aspects to the event;

The first features over 70 works by the worlds leading street art protagonists, Banksy, Faile, Micallef, Swoon and many more.

The second aspect is the Oi You! art competition with two sections, youth 9 to 13 years, & open. More info about registering here

The third is a brand new Cut Collective exhibition created specifically for the event.

Oi You! is shaping up to be a major feature on the street art horizon within NZ. It’s big, ambitious and for the first time in this country we will get an opportunity to see NZ street art contextualiszed in a world sense.

Component & Ithink Design did the cover artwork for new ladi6 Album late last year ” The Liberation of …” Great album, one of the stand out songs is Like water. The guys @ mo fresh productions put the Video together and Enforce one & Trustme & Component as cut collective teamed up on some extra art work for the video. Check it out here -

So tell ya mates and family to check out the Video & go pick up the Cd, the cover artwork out at the moment is the limited edition. Maybe the vinyl version will be released in the next few months too for the heads out there .

This weekend we will be painting live at the International tattoo art Expo in Hamilton the event is at the Claudelands event center .

Heaps of cool stuff going on Live music , On site tattooing , art fusion , Graffiti , Skate competitions ,

Component & Trustme teamed up on a street hype for all time hip hop group P.E ..few poster hits and a wall on Krd & Got to get a photo with Chuck D with the one of the Posters .. The Gig @ the town hall was really good too. A Full band playing the fear of a Black planet, all time favorite album !

Earlier in the year we here @ cut collective were working on ideas for a New MTV set for their new show MTV +1 . After a while it came together, here are some Photos of the project and few screen shots of the set. We had fun making an over sized 3D logo with TV parts popping out ..
